Dawet is the mix of cendol (the green vermicelli) coconut milk and Javanese sugar.
The green cendol gives this drink something to bite into.
You can leave a cendol pure (with coconut milk and sugar sirop), or add more condiments.
Bahan Membuat Cendol dawet homemade
- Prepare 3 sdm of Tepung beras.
- You need 6 sdm of tepung tapioka.
- Prepare 3 sdm of Tepung hunkwe.
- Prepare 1 sdt of Fanili.
- You need of Pewrna mknan (hijau) sckupnya.
- Prepare of Garam secukupnya.
- Prepare of Air secukupnya.
- You need 1 of Gula merah.
- Prepare 2 of santan kara.
- You need 2 helai of daun pandan.
Langkah Memasak Cendol dawet homemade
- Siapkan wajan taruh tepung tapioka,beras,hunkwe,fanili,garam,pewarna mkanan.
- Kasih air diaduk sampai larut semua bahan/ jgn nyalakan kompor dulu.
- Stelah smua larut nyalakan kompor apinya kecil biar gk gosong,diaduk sampai mengkilat warnanya.
- Stelah mateng siapkan wadah berisi air+es batu buat cetak cendolnya...
- Lanjut buat bahan gula: rebus air,daun pandan gula+garam hingga mendidih angkat.
- Terakhir bahan santan: rebus santan tambahkan air+garam dgn api kecil smpai mndidih jgn sampai santan pecah....
- Cendol siap disajikan...

In Java, where it is purported that cendol came from, the term cendol refers to the green worm-shaped starch jellies. A dessert with the green jellies, coconut milk and palm sugar is known as dawet. However, in Malaysia/Brunei, cendol refers to the actual dessert as a whole.
